COVID-19 Update 17 May – 15 515 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases In South Africa

South Africa now has 15 515 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus on the 17th May 2020. There has been an increase of 1160 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.

The total number of tests conducted in South Africa so far is 460 873. Three more COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded. This increases the total to 264 coronavirus deaths.

**Note 7 006 people have recovered from the virus. South Africa now has 8 245 active coronavirus cases.
