COVID-19 Update 18 May – 16 433 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases In South Africa

South Africa now has 16 433 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus on the 18th May 2020. There has been an increase of 918 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.

The total number of tests conducted in South Africa so far is 475 071. Twenty-two more COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded. This increases the total to 286 coronavirus deaths.

**Note 7 298 people have recovered from the virus. South Africa now has 8 849 active coronavirus cases.
