COVID-19 Update 19 May – 17 200 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases In South Africa

South Africa now has 17 200 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus on the 19th May 2020. There has been an increase of 767 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.

The total number of tests conducted in South Africa so far is 488 609. Twenty-six more COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded. This increases the total to 312 coronavirus deaths.

**Note 7 960 people have recovered from the virus. South Africa now has 8 928 active coronavirus cases.
