COVID-19 Update 20 May – 18 003 Confirmed Coronavirus Cases In South Africa

South Africa now has 18 003 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus on the 20th May 2020. There has been an increase of 803 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.

The total number of tests conducted in South Africa so far is 505 861. Twenty-seven more COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded. This increases the total to 339 coronavirus deaths.

**Note 8 950 people have recovered from the virus. South Africa now has 8 714 active coronavirus cases.
