COVID-19 Update 22 May – 20 125 Confirmed, 9 624 Active COVID-19 Cases In South Africa

South Africa now has 20 125 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 virus on the 22nd May 2020. There has been an increase of 988 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa.

The total number of tests conducted in South Africa so far is 543 032. Twenty-Eight more COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded. This increases the total to 397 coronavirus deaths.

**Note 10 104 people have recovered from the virus. South Africa now has 9 624 active coronavirus cases.
