Springboks Return From Winning The 2019 Rugby World Cup

Hundreds of South Africans welcomed the Springboks at OR Tambo International Airport, upon their return from Japan after winning the Rugby World Cup. South Africans filled all three floors looking over the international arrivals terminal waiting to see the Springboks. The national team, together with Captain Siya Kolisi and Coach Rassie Erasmus, landed at OR Tambo International airport on Tuesday night where hundreds of South Africans wearing green and gold, carrying the flag and singing and blowing vuvuzelas to welcome them home.


Nathi Mthethwa the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture said that The Springboks have victory in the Rugby World Cup united South Africa. “The most important lesson we can take from our Springboks is… they were single-minded and their unity was unity of purpose. The affected people off the field which [are the] 57 million people in South Africa,” said  Nathi Mthethwa the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture.
